COMMITTEE OF 100 FOR TIBET

The Committee of 100 for Tibet (C100) is a unique organization in its composition, strategy and uncompromising support of the Tibetan people and their peaceful struggle to regain control of their future.

C100 cooperates with, and complements the work of other organizations supporting Tibet and the Tibetan people. Currently, C100 is working with the Tibetan leadership and representatives of Tibet support groups from around the world, focusing on the Tibetan people’s right to self-determination.

Our mission is to inform the public about the unique national, cultural and religious identity of the Tibetan people and to work to preserve that identity and assure the survival of the Tibetan culture and the human rights of the Tibetan people.

C100 is dedicated to placing Tibet on the international agenda, to encouraging peoples and governments to recognize that Tibet is currently illegally occupied and colonized by China, and to advancing the Tibetan people’s fundamental right to self-determination.

The C100’s Committee Members include internationally recognized Nobel Laureates, peacemakers, scientists, authors, musicians, actors and artists, who, for several decades, have given their intellectual and spiritual support to the organization.
